Hello people, the scientists across the world are suspecting that the Covid 19 can be spread even through airborne particles. The SARS virus in 2003 was said to be spread through airborne particles in various research articles and so, the confirmation of the fact that Covid 19 is airborne or not is essential to eradicate or limit the spread of virus.
The novel Corona virus was thought to spread by the means of :-
(1) Touching the infected surfaces.
(2) Touching or coming in close contact with the infected person.
(3) Inhaling the droplets of cough or sneeze.
And now the scientists of various countries across the world have conducted research and asked WHO to revise the investigation. The WHO concluded that Corona virus or SARS-COVID19 can be airborne but the evidence regarding the conducted clinical trials are still not solid enough.
If the air borne transmission of the virus is true then it may lead to much more effective spread of the disease. According to the trials the people who visit or live in confined places are more likely to get effected. Whereas the open spaces are not that likely to get infected as compared to prior one.
As the the new mode of transmission has been suspected, humans must take more cautious steps in order to prevent from getting infected by the virus. Remember getting infected and having or suffering from the disease are two different aspects. All individuals who get infected do not have the disease as their immune system fights against the disease. But yes, the infected people who do not have the disease or are asymptomatic can transfer the disease to others.
The necessary steps people need to undertake are:-
(1) Maintaining social distance of about 3-4 feet.
(2) Wearing of mask is compulsion and in case of cloth, ensure that the cloth or scarf is wrapped nicely around the nose and mouth without leaving spaces to prevent the airborne particles to enter the body through mouth or nose.
(3) Avoid touching face frequently.
(4) For diet, Indian food is advisable as it consists of spices and elements which help in boosting immunity.
(5) Start exercising atleast about 30 mins. Suryanamaskar is good choice or else cardio-respiratory exercises are helpful.
(6) Don't visit public places unless necessary.
We as an individual cannot fight with this situation unless we have proper treatment available. But yes, we can definitely take necessary steps to avoid ourselves from being infection and transferring the disease to others.
We can absolutely bring the change and improve the condition by following certain guidelines and preventive measures. So stay home, eat healthy, exercise and repeat. Also motivate people close to you, in your surroundings to do the same. Be the change!
