Immune system is playing tremendous role in today's pandemic situation. People who have ignored their health for a considerable long time, started to take all the necessary steps to regain their health.
Markets have launched various immunity boosters or Immunity boosting products which made easy for people to gain immunity without searching for the food items containing essential vitamins and proteins.
But as usual, we all know that nothing is even a bit better than natural food.
And so here are some methods to gain immunity at home without stressing out.
1) Diet:-
The most and foremost step towards a perfect Immunity boosting diet is to cut out the carbs and increase the amount of proteins in your diet. Most of good ingredients are spices which are already present in Indian cuisine. Also, replace sugar with jaggery.
The essential elements which are helpful during pandemic are:-
- Beta-carotene

- Zinc

2) Sleep:-

3) Yoga/ Exercise:-
If you still have trouble falling sleep even if you try for many days, start doing yoga or a simple exercise.
Atleast 20-30 mins of yoga or exercise may help you a lot. Yoga will calm you down and also help to treat acute insomnia.
You may also start doing meditation for 15-20 mins per day.
Don't go for strenuous exercises from the 1st day itself. Start with little and gradually increase the levels as per your stamina.
4) Stay hydrated:-
Drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water per day. Drinking more water will flush out the toxins from your body and it also helps you to stay fresh.
Drink juices such as:- citrus fruit juice, coconut water.
Herbal tea ingredients:-
Basil leaves, cinnamon (daalcheenee), black pepper (kaali mirch), dry ginger, raisin.
You may also prepare ginseng tea which has overall benefits for your body (Do not drink regularly and have in small amount for first time to check for allergies)
5) Avoid smoking and drinking alcohol:-
Smoking and drinking is offcourse injurious to health.
But in this Covid 19 pandemic situation, a myth was spread that drinking alcohol can prevent you from getting corona virus infection which is false.
Be aware, smoking and drinking alcohol can weaken your immune system.
