Ganesh Chaturthi is the festival full of joy, happiness, craziness and is very heartfelt. Nothing I can say such that you people won't relate with, especially if you are a mumbaikar! 

But unfortunately this year had the most minimal celebration of such an auspicious occasion, no no....not an occasion, it's what we wait for....wait for the whole year from the moment right after the visarjan. And that emotion of saying goodbye to bappa can NOT be explained....just CAN NOT! 

Each thing right from the start of this auspicious month is very special and enthusiastic. I would rather say what not is exciting....what not would make you feel so badly eager to bring bappa to your home. The selection of the ganapati idol....those beautifully sculpted and painted idols are worth having a confusion to choose. And yess.....answer me this.... Who would not dance on nashik dhol??? Who would not! That dhol tasha can just make anyone dance and move out of joy! And the 'MODAK'...... okay can't continue this....I'm already craving for it! 

This year has been the most challenging one, not only in terms of economy, health, employment, but also in terms of celebrations, perspectives and many more. But that's how we test our thoughts, our opinions, our way of executing things differently with a soulful perspective. This time we might have not celebrated the festival as joyful as before but we have supported each other, we became distantly united and that's what the celebrations are for! 

Today, on the day of visarjan, bappa left us for a year with watery eyes, and an ocean of memories which will be cherished forever.
